This dialog lets you choose how letters to workers are to be delivered: by mail and/or email.

Create USPS Letters—Print the letters for mailing. When selected, this option has two sub-options. You'll need to select one of them:

For workers WITHOUT a validated Email Address—Prints a letter only if a worker does not have a verified email address.

For ALL workers—Prints a letter for all workers in the class, regardless of whether they have an email address on file, regardless of whether the email address is verified.

Send Emails to workers with validated Email Addresses—Email the letters to workers who have email addresses that have been verified. When you select the email option, the fields From: and cc: appear.

From—The addresses in the drop-down list are those listed in VOTER FOCUS ADMIN > System Options > Email. The address you select will appear in the From field on recipient emails. Only one From address can be entered.

cc:Optional. You can enter an address to which the email will be copied. We recommend you use an email address that's external to your email system—such as a Gmail address—so you can verify that the emails were sent outside your internal environment. Only one address can be entered in this field.

Here's what happens if you select both options—print letters and send emails.

Workers without verified email addresses get letters.

Workers with verified email addresses get emails.

All workers get letters.

Workers with verified email addresses also get an email.
